Donovan’s dedication earned him a place in the top 10 percent of his graduating class and membership in the National Honor Society and the National Business Honor Society.
After high school, Donovan attended Princeton University, where he majored in Economics and earned a certificate in Political Economy. His time at Princeton was defined by academic excellence, as he graduated cum laude in 2017. While studying, he also gained valuable professional experience through an MBA internship program, which helped him establish a foundation for his corporate career.
Donovan began his professional journey in the CPG industry, where he quickly rose through the ranks. He started as a Brand Management intern in 2016, working on a $300 million brand strategy to capture a larger share of the Hispanic consumer market. His efforts during the internship were well-received, and after completing his degree, he joined the company full-time as an Assistant Brand Manager. In this role, he played a key part in revitalizing a $100 million brand by implementing digital strategies and updating packaging. A notable accomplishment during this time was launching the brand’s Instagram page, which became central to its media presence and digital marketing efforts.
In 2019, Donovan was promoted to Associate Brand Manager, where he took on greater responsibilities. He managed a $400 million brand with a focus on its club business. He collaborated with agency partners to develop strategies that addressed
consumer feedback and drove growth. His attention to detail and ability to navigate market changes helped him succeed in this role and further solidified his position within the company.
After gaining several years of experience in the CPG industry, he transitioned to digital marketing. He joined a digital marketing agency, leveraging his brand management expertise to develop and execute effective marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Over the years, Donovan advanced to Account Director, managing large-scale accounts with ad spending surpassing $2 million annually. His proficiency in pay-per-click (PPC) marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), and social media strategy has enabled him to deliver measurable results. Certified in Google Ads, he has experience with major platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, helping clients maximize their digital presence.
Outside of work, Donovan is passionate about staying active and enjoying the outdoors. He has completed two half marathons and regularly participates in hiking and rock climbing. One of his most memorable outdoor experiences was hiking the Four Pass Loop in Colorado, a challenging 27-mile trail. He also enjoys photography,
